Kerstin Sjöberg is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Business and Management at Royal Holloway University of London. During her exchange year in Boston Kerstin volunteered at SACC-NE and will now join the team as an Outreach & Fundraising associate.

Upon completing her bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics at Lund University Claudia wanted to expand her horizon by moving to Boston for work. Starting this august, Claudia joined the SACC-NE operational team as our Member Services and Community Associate.

Smilla McCormac is studying her bachelor’s degree in Business and Economics at Lund University. Starting this august, Smilla joined the SACC-NE operational team as our Marketing and Event Associate.

This week we had the great honor to welcome the Swedish State Secretary (deputy minister) for Health and Social Affairs, Dr. Maja Fjaestad, and her delegation together with representatives from our member companies from the Swedish and American life science sector in Boston to discuss the life science ecosystem and what makes Boston special as a life science hub.
