Welcome Kerstin Sjöberg, new SACC-NE Intern!

Kerstin Sjöberg is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Business and Management at Royal Holloway University of London. During her exchange year in Boston Kerstin volunteered at SACC-NE and will now join the team as an Outreach & Fundraising associate.  

Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your background?

I grew up in a small town south of Sweden called Båstad, but attended high school in Stockholm. The desire to study abroad and experience new cultures led me to both London and Boston for my undergraduate studies. A bit like home, Boston has beautiful parks and architecture, so during my year abroad at Boston College, I fell in love with the city and decided to stay a bit longer to pursue this amazing opportunity working at SACC-NE.

What do you hope to accomplish as an intern with SACC- NE?

It is my hope that this internship will enable me to better understand how American business differs from how Swedish business typically is conducted. I also aspire to expand my international network, increase my confidence and to improve my storytelling skills. 

How will you contribute to the team?

Having interned in the experience and management consulting field at PwC Sweden, I believe I will be a great addition to our team by bringing my knowledge in strategy and design.
