Last Thursday we hosted our first in-person event of the year! We celebrated being able to finally meet in person while networking with the Swedish-American business community and nibbling on appetizers from Shy Bird.

Being an intern at SACC-NE is a unique opportunity to gain valuable ‘real world’ experience and business-related skills as well as develop a professional international network in a region with some of the world’s most prominent life science, technology, and clean-tech industry clusters. We asked Thea Wadell, Event & Marketing Intern at SACC-NE in the fall of 2021, why you should apply for an internship at SACC-NE.

Introducing Hillevi, our new Marketing & Community Associate

We are pleased to welcome our new intern Hillevi Pihl to the SACC-NE team! She joins us from Växjö with a background in administration and event planning. Hillevi is in her final semester at Linnaeus University where she will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in Political Science. On the side of her studies and various engagement in student associations at Linnaeus University, she had been a board member of a student pub as both purchasing manager and service manager.

Introducing Evelina, our new Outreach & Membership Associate

Evelina is currently studying her final year at Lund’s University School of Economics and Management, pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She is 22 years old and is originally from Trollhättan. In addition, she has a background working within property management as a contract- and revenue economist.

A week ago, we hosted another “Innovation Fika”. Thank you everyone for attending!
