A week ago, we hosted another “Innovation Fika”. Thank you everyone for attending!

We also want to thank Eric Zhang from Biofiber Tech Sweden AB for the innovation and excitement that Biofiber has brought to the sustainable materials industry.

Some key takeaways:

  • There is much interest in the sustainable materials industry but few materials available.

  • The sustainable materials that we have are costly and use our food resources, thus affecting the food market.

  • Biofiber works towards reducing the carbon footprint by using existing paper mills to create their FibraQ®.

  • FibraQ® is created using wood fiber to create a material which has similar texture and elasticity as plastic and can therefore be sold and used in the renewable plastic industry.
