This week it was finally time for our End-of-the-Year Cocktail Party, hosted together with Quinyx! We celebrated the holidays with delicious nibbles and glögg from Sjoeblom Winery while networking with the Swedish-American business community.

This week we have launched SACC-NE Sessions, a Podcast highlighting the Swedish-American business community in the New England region.

Last week, we hosted the webinar “Think Green: Sustainable Business in New England, Sweden and Beyond”. Thank you everyone for attending!

We also want to thank our phenomenal panelists Eva Hunnius Ohlin, Beth Zonis, and John Tuccillo for the interesting discussion that focused on the importance of sustainability and the exciting upcoming opportunities for both Swedish, and American companies in the field.

Last week Johan Schneider and Jesper Palmborg, two International Trade and Business Associates at SACC-USA, visited our office in Boston to discuss the SACC-USA's Talent Mobility Program.

The SACC-USA Talent Mobility program facilitates knowledge exchange in both directions between the United States and Sweden. Companies in Sweden get the opportunity to host young American professionals for internships and vice versa. They partner with major universities across Sweden and America, connect you with top talent, and help you and your selected candidate with the visa/residence permit application.

This week we had the great honor to welcome The Consul General of Sweden in New York, Camilla Mellander, together with representatives from Business Sweden and the Swedish Embassy in DC, at our office, where we hosted an informal discussion with a small group of invited leaders from the Swedish American business community.
