New Honorary Board Member: Camilla Mellander

We are proud to welcome Camilla Mellander, the Consul General of Sweden in New York, as a SACC-NE Honorary Board Member!

The Consulate General of Sweden in New York was first founded in 1843 and focuses on the promotion of Sweden in a broad sense, including trade and investment, cultural and consular affairs. Camilla Mellander is Consul General and Head of Mission. The Consulate General in New York represents Sweden in the states of New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Maine, Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, and New Hampshire. Camilla Mellander has a long and distinguished career as a diplomat. She recently served as the Head of Trade Promotion at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs in Stockholm and as the Swedish Ambassador to Vietnam. Mellander has also served at the Permanent Representation of Sweden to the EU in Brussels and at the Embassy in Tel Aviv along with several other positions at the Swedish Ministry for Foreign Affairs.
