SACC Summit 2024 in Chicago

Between September 18 and 20, we had the honor of attending this year’s SACC Summit, hosted by our colleagues at SACC-Chicago. It was truly amazing to meet and exchange ideas with our fellow Swedish-American chambers, business partners and sponsors. 

This year's theme has been “Reaching for the Summit”, where we have bringed together unique perspectives to explore how companies and individuals can reach their ultimate goals in finance, sustainability, and beyond. 

During the three day Summit we got to participate in everything from inspiring panel discussions, presentations, discussions on how to develop SACC as an organization, to listening to the governor of Illinois speech, mingling at SACC Chicago’s rooftop, and trying the city’s famous deep dish pizza at the restaurant Labriola.

During the internal day, we got to meet with the other chambers all around the country and discuss different topics such as best practices, how to attract and work with interns, and have to strengthen our cooperation. It was truly interesting and gave us new perspectives on how to improve our business. 

One of the highlights was the boat tour together with Wendella Tours and Cruises. Taking in the architecture and city landscape of Chicago while cruising on Lake Michigan, was truly an amazing experience.
