Welcome Stella Berlin, new Event & Marketing Associate!
/Main thing that drew you to SACC-NE?
Upon closing in on my fifth term at the Business and Economics program at Lund University, the choice for my elective semester was clear - I wanted the “SACC-NE experience”. To precise what this means in its entirety is undeniably quite difficult, but in short, I wanted to gain valuable knowledge in the American business sphere vis-à-vis the Swedish way of developing an organization, work with people in key positions of pioneering industry leaders, and, of course, take in everything comes with living in a city as Boston for half a year.
Your best Boston tip?
You certainly won’t struggle to find a great time in Boston. Even something as basic as going grocery shopping at a Trader Joe’s could bring excitement, but if I had to recommend one thing to a visiting Boston tourist, it would have to be to experience the great food culture of the city. Maybe a pasta in our current home quarters of North End, a Lobster Roll at the historic Quincy Market, or why not a birria taco in downtown Boston?
Your best hometown tip?
When in Stockholm, you should direct your focus to Kungsholmen. As I was born and raised here, I feel like I know every corner of this part of Sweden’s capital. You should definitely take a stroll down Norr Mälarstrand and go to Mälarpaviljongen, grab a coffee at Komet Café, or eat dinner at Meno Male.
