Quinyx was founded in 2005when Erik Fjellborg was working at McDonalds and noticed that his manager frequently struggled to manage employees’ schedules over the phone. He discovered that there was no system that could handle scheduling when staff wanted to quickly book or change shifts, so he built one himself. McDonald’s loved Erik’s solution and became Quinyx’s first customer. Since then, Quinyx has rapidly expanded to eight countries such as Denmark (2009), the UK (2014), Germany (2018), and the US (2019). Today, Quinyx helps some of the world’s biggest businesses save time and money, boost productivity and enjoy work.
