About Brooke Duffy
Brooke Duffy is the VP of Sales & Marketing at Captario. In her nearly 20-year career, Brooke has built and implemented sales and marketing strategies that support exponential growth for organizations going through pivotal periods of change. This experience includes leading sales & marketing teams and tactics at start-ups, through mergers & acquisitions, launching new products, and more.
Brooke is particularly skilled at making order out of the chaos that commonly exists during these time periods by operationalizing the necessary people, processes, and technologies to positively affect the bottom line. Brooke holds a B.A. in Communications & Marketing from Boston College and an M.B.A. with a specialization in Marketing from UMass Amherst Isenberg School of Management. About Robert Dann
Robert Dann is the Senior Vice President, Marketing & US Business at Biovica, and both a strategist and marketer focused on bringing new innovations in oncology to market. He has deep expertise in market positioning and go-to-market strategies with global experience in therapies, diagnostics, and data and analytics with a track record of success across oncology diagnostics and therapeutics.
He previously led life sciences and oncology marketing at IBM Watson Health. He also served in roles leading strategic marketing and oncology marketing at GE Healthcare. Earlier in his career, among other roles, Robert led the global launch of the hit estrogen blocker Faslodex for AstraZeneca and was country general manager in Russia and in Finland.
About Karin Hellsvik
Karin Hellsvik brings 15 years of passion for improving patient care to her current position as Head of Corporate Affairs for Biogen’s Alzheimer’s Business Unit. She sets the corporate affairs strategy for the company’s Alzheimer’s program and is responsible for engaging with patient organizations, campaigning health groups, and policymakers around projects that improve health outcomes in the US and internationally.
Karin has extensive experience in communications and marketing with a focus on life science and healthcare. She moved to the US in 2016 and spent prior to this four years at Biogen’s international headquarters in Switzerland as the Head of Patient Advocacy in Europe. Before taking on the European role, she served as Biogen’s Head of Patient Communications in the Nordic region, based in Copenhagen.
Prior to joining Biogen in 2010, Karin worked at several communications and adverting agencies and gained vast experience consulting with a broad range of clients focusing on pharma communications, marketing, and advocacy.
Karin joined SACC’NEs Board of Directors in 2018.
