Marianne will share her experiences and views on how to lift women in the corporate world and enable them to reach top positions that contributes to the business community getting a better and more inclusive pipeline of future managers.

Catharina Lavers Mallet is a strategic leader for product-led companies undergoing transformative growth, and is the VP and GM of Maxis, the Electronic Arts studio behind beloved games like The Sims and SimCity. Her previous experience ranges from seed-stage startup through Fortune 500 companies across Games (Playfish, King/Activision), B2B (Talla), and Consumer Electronics (Bose). She is also active in the startup community as an executive coach, angel investor (TBD Angels) and as a mentor (Martin Trust Center at MIT and at MassChallenge). She has a BA from Harvard in History & Literature and an MBA from MIT Sloan. She lives in Newton MA with her husband and three children, where she is trying hard to maintain connections with Sweden and Swedish culture as best she can.
