About SACC NE:
The Swedish-American Chamber of Commerce New England (SACC-NE) is a non-profit organization dedicated to facilitating trade, entrepreneurship, investment, and business opportunities between Sweden and the New England region. At SACC-NE we celebrate and promote Swedish-American business through professional networking events, programs, and much more.
The 2021-2022 SACC-NE Board
The SACC-NE Board should encompass the following mission and characteristics:
Develop and exercise a clear visionary leadership for the organization, led by the Chair of the Board
Commit to proactive, growth-focused actions; e.g. introductions to potential sponsors and/or partners, etc.
Provide a fresh perspective in regards to SACC NE’s programs and events
Commitment to our cause and availability to participate in scheduled activities
Election of SACC-NE Board Members:
SACC-NE Directors are elected at the SACC-NE Annual Meeting by SACC-NE members.
SACC-NE Officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary) are elected by the new Board of Directors at the following board meeting.
All Board Members are required to attend board meetings.
Who can vote? Members of SACC-NE, paid membership dues by 9.28.2021 can exercise their vote at the annual meeting.
Who can join the SACC-NE Board? Members of SACC-NE, paid membership dues by 9.28.2021 are eligible.

At SACC-NE we depend on membership fees and donations in order to fulfill our mission - accelerate trade, commerce, and investment relationships, as well as actively promote entrepreneurship, academia, innovation, and business opportunities between Sweden and the New England region.
