Webinar with Ambassador Olofsdotter and the Atlantic Council

Please join the Atlantic Council and SACC-USA for a virtual discussion with H.E. Karin Olofsdotter, Swedish Ambassador to the United States, on “Swedish-American Cooperation in the Era of COVID-19.” The event will take place on Thursday, April 30, 2020 from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. EDT, and will be held online through Zoom video-conference technology. To receive the Zoom link, please follow the registration link below.

The United States is stronger in collaboration with allies and partners, but the COVID-19 pandemic has profoundly impacted global economic relations. Accordingly, Ambassador Karin Olofsdotter will join us to discuss both the Swedish approach to COVID-19 and its effect on business and trade between Sweden and the United States. More specifically, Ambassador Olofsdotter will discuss topics including:

  • The Swedish response to the COVID-19 outbreak

  • How Swedish companies in the U.S. are affected by the crisis

  • The current trade agenda

  • How work is progressing at the Swedish Embassy during the crisis

The conversation will be moderated by Michael Andersson, Atlantic Council board director and chairman of SACC-USA.

We hope you can join us for what promises to be an important and timely discussion.
